The attendance of Allan Tomlinson (who will 93 at the time of Lobethal) who will guest appear with a replica MG TA being built to mark the occasion by MG enthusiasts, John Lackey and Rob Rowe. Allan will be flying out from New York where he now lives with his daughter. Other prominent MGs include the prototype K3 owned since 1959 by Jim Nilsson, Philip Bradey's ex Prince Bira K3 and the unique R-type campaigned by Chris Bucknell, one of just 10 built.

Alfa Romeo P3 GP cars from the USA owned by Jon Shirley and Peter Giddings. The world's oldest Alfa, a 1921 Alfa Romeo G1 owned by Alfa Australia chief, Neville Chrichton will be piloted by David Berthon along with the 1923 Alfa Romeo RLTF of Rod Quinn.

The ex-John Snow Delahaye 135S which placed 4th at the 1939 Lobethal AGP is being shipped from USA. It is owned by Peter Mullin who has appointed friend, Jim Stranberg to steer the famous car around Lobethal 2009.

Featured Marques: Alfa Romeo and MG

BIKES: "Old Bike Australasia" Editor, Jim Scaysbrook will ride a 250cc Excelsior owned by Birdwood bike identity, Martyn Adams who will ride his immaculate and very rare Rex Acme TT racer. Other famous makes include a great Norton and Velocette representation with Vincent, Triumph, AJS, BSA and Matchless in support. Outfits will also feature among the solo machines. And on display at the Lobethal Service Centre will be the Norton International of Lobethal legend, Bruce Hector.
