Lobethal road detour/road closure map

As occurred in 1938, public roads were closed to facilitate the staging of the Lobethal motor races. For the re-enactment, we are again closing the following roads between the times of 12:30 and 4:30 pm on both days of the event, Saturday & Sunday October 11th and 12th, 2008.

Lobethal - Mt Torrens Road
Onkaparinga Valley Road
Lobethal - Woodside Road
Main Street, Lobethal

We apologise for any inconvenience or disruption and trust you can either detour the circuit with minimum fuss, or alternatively, come and enjoy the event.

Event Debrief Invitation -

- All members of the Lobethal and Charleston
communities are to be thanked for facilitating the
recent and very successful Lobethal Grand Carnival which has become much talked about over the last few weeks.

In post analysis of the event, there is obviously much to discuss, and our Debrief will allow all who attend to provide feedback and to contribute ideas to the next event, planned for October 3-5, 2009.

Whether you represent a business, a community
organisation, property owner or wish to contribute as a rate paying resident, you are all encouraged
to attend. Please encourage family members,
colleagues and friends along to what we expect will be a very worthwhile gathering.
